A veep for McCain

Should he turn to the right or the left?

I think he should look for a moderate to attract independents in November.

I believe Romney is the answer: very strong on the economy (McCain's weakness), winner of CPAC straw poll, and a strong believer in the war effort and tighter control of the border.

Turmoil on the left side of the aisle

It's looking increasingly like Obama and Hillary are going to cruise into late Spring neck and neck. What will the DNC do?

An open convention won't (be allowed to) happen. Nor will a tie-breaking vote by Super Delegates.

FL and MI only add to the problem (Hillary would never agree to caucuses and Obama would never agree to open them up to primaries).
