DNC will nominate Obama

Now that the DNC is in control of the Dim Party nomination process, they will follow what they perceive to be and hope is the will of the voters of their Party.

The Blacks and youth of the party will have been satisfied but the party elite will recognize that they have again LOST!

President McCain - who woulda thought?

Obama's speech on 3/18

I've read the speech but I have no idea how people have taken it. Here is my opinion about it:

The man is a very good writer and a liberal.

If I didn't know why he gave the speech I would not have known after he gave it.

He did fess up to knowing about Wright's strong opinions, but there was no mention of which things he agrees and disagrees with and there was no mention of the Farrakhan connection.

Details were absent and that's what we needed. We know about his beginnings and his mother and grandfather - again - but we still don't know how angry and bitter he is (is he sympathetic with Rev. Wright even though he might make him cringe?). He recites history and waxes poetic about a divided America with a racist legacy, but tells us nothing of his current, personal beliefs. Then again, I guess we really do know.

I'll be curious to see how interested Americans are in living through another race war, as that seems to be what he has in mind. And, how interested the Dims are in nominating a candidate whose campaign is all about race.
